My story

Meet Flynn, a precious 5-6 month old neutered male hound mix puppy who has overcome incredible odds to find a second chance at love and happiness! Abandoned on the side of the road as a tiny, sick pup, Flynn was fortunate to be rescued by a caring organization and nursed back to health by a devoted foster. Now, this sweet boy is ready to find his forever family! Weighing around 30 pounds, Flynn is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog with a big heart. His loving personality shines through in his playful antics, snuggles, and joyful barks. Flynn adores people, dogs, and kids, and with proper socialization, training, and exercise, he'll grow into a loyal companion. Though his past was tough, Flynn's future is bright, and he's ready to bring love and laughter to his new family. Medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained, Flynn is all set to steal hearts and become a beloved family member. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
