Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Nelly! Nelly is a 14 pound Cavapoo who is 4 years old. This sweet girl lived her life as a mill mama, and is ready to retire and be showered with love and affection. Due to the history of being in a mill, we require a fenced in yard and a companion dog in the home for any potential applicants for Nelly. Another dog in the home will keep her company and help her gain confidence and learn how to be a dog. Nelly walks beautifully on a leash- she's just the happiest when she's by the side of her person. She is also blossoming- she's learning how to play with toys which is incredible to see. She's not quite sure how to best play with other dogs yet, but she's working hard to figure it out. Nelly is incredibly sweet and wants nothing more than attention from her people and a lap to snuggle in on. She is slowly learning how to interact with other dogs and is working on her potty training. She'll need a family with patience and willingness to continue to train her to be the best pup she can be! We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
