My story

  Meet Dillon – A Diamond Just Waiting to Shine &#226&#156&#168   Every once in a while, a truly special dog crosses our path—a dog who just needs someone to believe in him. Dillon is that dog.   This sleek, stunning 6-year-old Blue Doberman Pinscher has a heart as big as his beautiful smile. At 75 pounds, Dillon is a happy, affectionate boy who has charmed everyone at the Texas shelter where he’s been waiting—too long—for someone to finally see the incredible companion he’s meant to be.  Critter Cavalry Rescue wants to move him to a foster or forever home by April 1st and we can with your help!!!!!  Dillon came to the shelter as a stray, underweight and without a collar. But despite the rough start, he hasn’t let anything dampen his spirit. He’s well-adjusted, housebroken in his kennel, and a true joy to everyone who meets him. Dillon has attended adoption events, greeting people with his trademark Doberman grin and his easygoing personality. Yet somehow, his forever family hasn’t found him—yet.   He absolutely loves water and would be in heaven with a little plastic kiddie pool to splash around in this summer. Simple joys like that make Dillon’s heart sing. He doesn’t need grand gestures—he just needs someone to see him, to give him a chance, and to love him the way he deserves.   With his gorgeous fawn coloring (a rare and beautiful shade you don’t often see), Dillon turns heads everywhere he goes. But what truly makes him special is his heart—the heart of a dog who still believes his best days are ahead.   Dillon needs:&#226&#156&#133 A Doberman-savvy person or family&#226&#156&#133 A securely fenced yard&#226&#156&#133 Patience, guidance, and unconditional love&#226&#156&#133 A forever promise to walk through life together   We at Critter Cavalry Rescue have promised Dillon that we will not stop until we find him the home he’s been dreaming of.
