Milkshake

My story

Meet Milkshake, a 2 year old spayed lab/terrier mix. She weighs around 50 lbs. Poor girl was picked up as a stray by animal control, full of milk with no puppies in sight - she was believed to be dumped by her owners after she gave birth. Despite her past, Milkshake is a sweet and playful girl. She is good with other dogs, people, and older kids (since she is playful and may accidentally knock over small children). She’s a really great girl just looking for a new beginning. She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this beauty today! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
