Why this pet is the one for you:Mochi is a smart, sensitive dog searching for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and supported. While she sometimes shows brief moments of social engagement, she mostly appreciates quiet companionship and the freedom to explore interactions at her own pace. Mochi tolerates touch but does not always seek it out, and she does best when people allow her to initiate contact without pressure. Mochi is not a candidate for busy households, public spaces, or off-leash areas, and would thrive in a quiet home with access to a secure, low-traffic outdoor space. Because of her fearfulness, Mochi will need a family with children 10+ who can be present during meet-and-greets and who understand how to help her feel comfortable. Fear will be a part of Mochi's life, but with the right home, she has the potential to build a meaningful, trusting bond. Our Behavior & Training team will provide guidance to support her transition.
