My story

Hi there, I'm Winter Rose, a 2-year-old sweetheart with a playful spirit, a loyal heart, and a knack for making people laugh with my silly antics! I'm housebroken and crate trained, and when it’s time for a walk, I’m calm and easy-going. Sometimes I get a little excited at first (who wouldn’t?!), but I settle down quickly and stay non-reactive to other animals and people we pass. Whether it’s a stroll through the park or an adventure around the neighborhood, I’m always ready to be your walking buddy. I’m playful, loving, and smart—already knowing commands like sit, down, lay down, stay, and I’m learning paw too! I love to show off my skills, especially when there’s praise (or treats!) involved. I’m great at fetch (yes, I’ll actually bring the ball back!) and never say no to a game of tug-of-war. At home, I’m a gentle soul. I do well with young kids and even babies—I’ll lay softly on the floor beside them and just soak in the cuddles and love. I’ve met other dogs on walks and at parks and get along great with them, though I haven’t lived with another dog yet. I'm still working on a couple of things—like not begging for food (I mean, it smells so good!) and not jumping up when I'm really excited and trying to get your attention. But I’m a good listener and eager to learn. What makes me special? I’m incredibly adaptable, sliding into new homes and routines with ease. I form deep bonds with my people, always staying close by with my big loving heart. After a fun walk or play session, I’ll be the first to curl up next to you for a long, cozy nap. If you’re looking for a best friend who’ll make you laugh, keep you active, and fill your home with love and loyalty, I might just be your girl. 🐾
