My story

Sparrow is a sweet senior cat with the soul of a curmudgeon and the face of a very displeased owl — a look that’s as iconic as it is endearing. He came to us from a trailer court off Old Route 22, where he lived with other cats who didn’t treat him kindly. Despite his rough start, Sparrow is remarkably gentle and deeply affectionate in his own way. He’s not into being picked up, but he’ll happily claim your lap when he’s ready for cuddles. Sparrow thrives in a calm, quiet home and gets along well with other laid-back, non-aggressive cats. If you’re looking for a mellow companion with a heart of gold and a face full of grumpy charm, Sparrow might just be your guy.
