My story

STUNNING REDHEAD  DOB 3/27/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Guero, a sweet, friendly, and handsome “Classic” tabby fella. Foster Meowmy christened me with my Spanish name Guero because it means "someone who’s got light hair," and I’m a stunning redhead. Classic or “bullseye” tabby means that I have marble swirls on my sides, which makes me much more distinguished-looking than a kitty with typical mackerel-fish-bone stripes. For several months I roamed the neighborhood around a taco truck, but no one tried to help me until I came up to future foster meowmy’s car. I pride myself that I can always pick out a cat lady in the crowd. I was so friendly that she thought that perhaps she could track down my owner, so she popped me in her car and took me home. Unfortunately I wasn’t microchipped, but she whispered in my ear that she’d find me a forever home the second time around. After fending for myself on the mean streets of Houston, I didn’t adjust well to being in a foster home with lots of other cats. In fact, I get rather upset when another cat approaches me because it never ended well when that happened when I was a stray. Although I’m grateful to be in the safe haven of my foster home, I’d love to live with a family as an only-cat-child so I could have full reign to wander anywhere I wish in my house. In the meantime, I have my private quarters where I live independently from the rest of the cats. Surprisingly, I get along with the resident dogs, although I do play-fight with them. I entertain myself by perching on my cat tree by the window where I can watch people, dogs, and wildlife walk, run, scamper, and fly by. I’m ready to bring my good manners, debonair looks, and charming disposition to brighten my forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today!
