My story

Obedient and loyal! Hi there! My name is Cosabella, but my friends call me “Coda.” I’m a 2-year-old male Shepherd mix, weighing about 40 pounds. I’m in tip-top shape, though I haven’t been neutered just yet. My foster parents say I’m a sweet, loyal boy who’s full of love and always eager to please! I absolutely love going for walks, getting belly rubs, playing tug-of-war, sitting nicely for treats, and just being close to my humans. I’m also a big fan of kitties and small doggie friends—I’ll happily give kisses to any furry pals who are up for some affection. When it comes to training, I’ve got the basics down. I’m fully potty-trained, walk great on a leash, and am crate-trained, too (though I’m usually trusted outside of crates since I’m not the destructive type). I can be a little shy or nervous at first, especially around bigger pups or quick movements, so I just need a bit of time to acclimate, along with gentle introductions. I also have some mild separation anxiety, but I manage well during a typical workday. I’d love a forever home with a calm, smaller doggie or kitty sibling to keep me company. I’d probably do fine with kids too – as long as they’re gentle and respectful while we get to know each other. With a little patience and a lot of love, I know I’ll blossom into the perfect companion!
