Meet Billy! Are you looking for a dog who adores you, showers you with affection, and snuggles on the couch every night?Well… keep scrolling. Billy isn’t here for you. He’s here for your dog. And your neighbor’s dog. And your parents’ dog. And probably the dog he spots 3 houses down. Billy is the life of the dog party, the canine social butterfly of the block. But you? You’re just the person who opens the treat jar. Billy is about 1.5 years old and 8.5 pounds of pure “do not touch me, I’m vibing.” He wasn’t socialized much as a puppy, so now he’s super skittish with humans. He’ll follow you around the house like a little haunted shadow, but if you try to pet him? ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Cue the dramatic flinch. Don’t worry though—he won’t actually bite you. He just acts like he might. For flair.He LOVES dogs and plays like a champ. As for cats? He leaves them alone. Doesn’t want to play with them, doesn’t want their drama. If he gets too curious and catches a paw to the face, he immediately remembers his place. He respects the cat swipe like it’s law. &#226&#156&#139Potty habits? He’s a mixed bag! Will go outside, will use a pee pad, might miss the pee pad entirely. But good news—he doesn’t lift his leg, so it’s always a polite little puddle. Billy will likely bond with one special human, but he may never be a cuddly lap dog. He’s more of a “you do your thing, I’ll vibe nearby” kind of guy. And that’s okay. He’s quirky. He’s odd. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea… but he might just be yours.Give this weird little wallflower a chance—he just might bloom. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
