My story

Checkers will steal your heart! She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 4/21. She has a micro-chip but sadly her family did not come for her. She is as cute as can be and even sweeter. She gives all her attention to her person. She is learning that squeaky toys can be fun. Wouldn't you like to wake up to that face every morning? Ask for ID# 9508 Run 79. She will be spayed soon. She has a micro-chip. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
