My story

Meet Taz – Your Next Adventure Buddy! 🐾🌲 Ready to add a little more joy, energy, and love to your life? Meet Taz, a 1-year-old mix of what we think may be Akita and Pitbull. One thing is for sure, Taz is 100% best friend material. Weighing in at about 55 lbs., Taz is the perfect size to hop in the car and join you on every family outing—whether it's a weekend camping trip, a mountain hike, or a backyard game of frisbee. Did we mention his favorite way to see the sights is on a golf cart - this boy can’t wait to jump right up for a cruise around the block! Taz is a total people dog, especially when it comes to kids! He adores them and wants to be right in the middle of all their fun and games. He’s also a social butterfly with other dogs and would absolutely thrive in a home with canine companions to wrestle, romp, and snuggle with. He’s been respectful, playful and friendly with every dog (young and old alike) here at the Ranch. Is he energetic? Absolutely! Taz has those fabulous zoomy bursts that keep you laughing, but with daily exercise and a bit of structure, he settles in beautifully and becomes your classic velcro dog—never far from your side and always looking for cuddles and connection. Taz is still working on containing his excitement when he meets new people (he’s working on it, promise) so that’s something to be mindful of if you have younger kids at home. He’s vibrant, smart, and eager to please...and with the right active family, he’s going to be an absolute rockstar. Taz would be the kind of dog that you could take on a hike and then grab dinner or drink on a brewery patio and he’d settle right at your feet (happily taking treats from anyone and everyone). 💙 Neutered, healthy, and ready to find his forever home. 💙 Great with other dogs, LOVES kids, and thrives on companionship. 💙 Would excel in a home that’s active and outdoorsy—bonus points if you’ve got a frisbee or dreams of trekking the Appalachian trail.
