My story

  Meet Lucy! This independent sweetheart is looking for her forever home . She’ll come to you for cuddles and kisses when she’s ready — on her terms, of course! Lucy loves to nap and prefers the comfort of her cozy cat bed . She's a classy girl through and through . Lucy is a big fan of fresh water , so she’ll need a water fountain or access to a sink faucet . While she's okay with toys , she doesn’t play with them very often — she’s more into lounging than chasing. She’s fully vetted and up to date on all her vaccinations .  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves.
