My story

Meet Penny Winney! Born on December 29, 2024, Penny Winney is an adorable young Shepherd mix currently weighing about 20 pounds. This sweet girl is just starting her life's big adventures and is working hard on building her confidence and socialization skills. Penny gets to tag along with her foster dad to work, where she's learning to be calm and comfortable around new people and new environments. She’s also been a star when it comes to bath time and nail trims — handling both like a true pro! Naturally friendly, Penny is starting to warm up more each day, showing glimpses of her playful and affectionate personality as she gains trust. With continued love, patience, and positive experiences, Penny is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. If you’re ready to grow with a sweet pup full of potential, Penny Winney could be the perfect addition to your family! All Heart of America dogs are altered, micro chipped and will have age-appropriate vaccines. The adoption fee for all of our dogs/puppies is $225.
