My story

Meet Hero, a 4-year-old black and white male cat with a charming spirit and a heart of gold. Hero is affectionate, playful, and always ready to greet you with a purr or a gentle head bump. With his striking coat and sweet personality, he’s sure to be a loyal and loving companion. Hero is neutered, is vaccinated, is microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure he is healthy and ready for his new home. Hero has tested positive for FIV , an autoimmune condition. FIV is not transmissible to humans and cats can live normal lives with it. Our adoptions specialists can fill you in on the details. To meet Hero, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
