My story

Meet Sugar! This darling little girl is as sweet as her name suggests. Sugar is a 9-pound, 4 to 5-year-old Chihuahua. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and has recently undergone a dental cleaning. Sugar is in search of a calm and loving forever home to call her own. Like many Chihuahuas, she may take some time to warm up to new people, but once she forms a bond, she will be a loyal friend for life. We recommend that Miss Sugar goes to a home with older children. She has previously lived with small dogs but is apprehensive around larger dogs. We have not yet had a chance to test her around cats. Sugar is almost entirely potty trained. Once she is familiar with her surroundings and on a schedule she does well with her potty manners. Keep in mind she is young small breed dog with a life expectancy of 15yrs+. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for family and for dog, including a home that can stay committed to them for life. We review and schedule meets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
