My story

Meet Tag, the fluffy little gentleman with the soul of a philosopher and the charm of your favorite rom-com lead. This curious Maltipoo is equal parts snuggle bug and neighborhood gossip—always ready for a chat, especially if you’re discussing snacks or squirrel conspiracies. He’s house trained, leash savvy, and gets along great with other dogs. He’ll go up stairs like a champ and prefers a royal escort down. Adopt him and—yep, Tag, you’re it! Here are some notes from his foster: Overall, Tag was a wonderful weekend guest. He was indifferent to the two other Muttville pups in the home. He appears to be housetrained and was really good on the leash and in the car! He did not show any signs of resource guarding, was a good eater and didn't beg for food. Tag didn't seem to care about sleeping on the bed, and was content in a doggie bed simply next to the bed. Tag did pace and whine a bit during the day, but eventually settled down-- especially if he was able to snuggle up in a blanket near a human or get comfy in his doggie bed. Our guess is that once he's comfortable with his surroundings and there are a few "safe spots" for him to relax, he won't pace as often. He also likes to follow his human around and can be a bit of an escape artist when the outside door is opened...so just be mindful that he might take himself for a walk if his human is distracted. And he's good with stairs going down, but likes to be carried up them :) We're excited to see what happens next for Tag and have no doubt he'll find his forever home quickly! Thanks for letting us hang out with the little dude this weekend! It was a real treat for us.
