My story

Hello everyone! My name is Porter! I’m a spirited and lively little girl, but I also have a sweet, gentle side. I’m a mellow puppy who absolutely loves to snuggle! On the flipside, I’m playful and full of energy—being outside is my favorite thing so far! I love running around, but I’m just as happy lounging on the couch right next to you. I’m easy-going and adaptable! I’m a big fan of my toys. I’m perfectly content keeping myself entertained, but I’ll be even happier if you want to join in and play with me! I get along great with other dogs and even cats! I can be a little shy at first since I’m still a baby and smaller than most, but I warm up quickly. I currently live with another dog in my foster home and we get along wonderfully. Potty training is going great so far! I’m also very good with kids of all ages—my foster family has three children, ranging from teens to young ones—so I’ll fit in perfectly with any family. I’m a German Shepherd mix with the cutest markings and colors. I’m 2.5 months old and weigh about 12 pounds. I traveled all the way from Louisiana to Tomah, Wisconsin to find my forever home! I’m up-to-date on all my age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to meet my perfect family.
