My story

Trixie is a beautiful two-year-old calico girl looking for her forever home! This charming gal with distinctive calico spots is playful and affectionate, with a bright, curious personality. She loves to spend her days zooming around, chasing dangly toys, climbing her favorite (fake!) plant, and interacting with her people. In fact, interactive feels like one of the best words to describe her — she enjoys playful games and being petted. At the end of the day, she happily winds down by curling up on or beside her human for cuddles and pets. She’s also quite the chatterbox, using soft meows and purrs to communicate throughout the day. Trixie has a high energy level during the day and loves being active, playful, and curious. She needs regular playtime and stimulation to keep her happy. As evening comes, her energy shifts into relaxation mode, and she becomes a sweet, calm cuddle buddy. This lovely girl is currently living in a quiet foster home with just one human companion. She has adapted quickly, showing affection, curiosity, and friendliness. She hasn’t lived with other animals yet but is very open to meeting new people, often brushing past legs, giving little licks, and settling in quickly with new friends. Trixie would thrive in an active, loving home where she can get plenty of attention and playtime. She would do well either with an individual or a family, and she could likely enjoy living with another playful, friendly cat. She’s a great match for first-time cat owners or experienced adopters alike. A home with sunny windows for birdwatching and lots of interactive play would make her happiest. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
