My story

Alfalfa Sprout is the prettiest reformed barn kitty you’ll ever see! She’s still learning appropriate ways to interact with people, as the first 4 months of her life were spent outside and battling an upper respiratory infection alone in the shelter. After a some time in foster care, she’s really shown off how silly and playful she can be! Some of her favorite activities include “hunting” any toys that jingle or have feathers and “drowning them” in her water bowl, rolling around on her back to essentially pet herself, and her favorite time of the day is Churu time which is where we get the majority of our pets in. Without the Churu, she runs away when trying to pet her but her body language while being pet really shows how much she likes it! Alfalfa needs someone who is experienced with under socialized kitties and willing to be patient and continue to work with her. Her ideal home would be one without kids of any age in the home and potentially a home with a confident cat to show her how to appropriately show affection.
