Mia!

My story

Sweet Mia came to us in late 2024 and is a darling little girl! Everyone who meets her falls in love with her endearing personality. The vet noticed several mammary tumors and they were removed over two surgeries. One of the biopsies showed that one of the tumors was cancerous, so we are so glad we removed them all when we did. Although there are no signs currently, there is a chance that the cancer might have spread and her adopter should be proactive on annual or bi-annual vet visits to be sure if something does show up, it can be caught as early as possible. In the meantime, all Mia wants is a home of her own, here is a little about this special girl: My name is Mia and my estimated birthday is around 1/2017 and I am about 14lbs. I am a very laid back dog and love meeting new people and other dogs. I also get along with cats. I know some commands and trying to learn how to speak, but only with slow progress. I enjoy sitting on the couch or in a dog bed just as long as it's near my people. I like being bathed and groomed. I am crate trained, enjoy car rides and I don't mind visits to the vet. I walk well on a leash. I don't get why everyone thinks I have a grumpy face, because rest assured I am a very happy dog. I would do best in a family with older children, or someone just needing companionship. I am playful but mostly super calm.
