My story

Meet Orion! Born on March 4, 2025, Orion is ready to make a constellation-sized impact on your heart. Named after the mighty hunter in Greek mythology—and the brightest starry figure in the sky—our Orion is just as impressive, but a whole lot more cuddly. Orion’s journey started outside without a mom to guide him, but he quickly showed that he was a fighter. After being bottle-fed and showered with love, he’s grown into a playful, adventurous, and incredibly affectionate little boy. He’s the type of kitten who charges full-speed into playtime, chasing toys like a true hero on a mission, and then melts into a puddle of purrs the moment you scoop him up. Orion is fully litterbox trained, has great kitten manners, and would absolutely thrive with a feline friend by his side to share in all of life’s adventures. Whether he’s scaling the "mountains" of the couch or tracking down his favorite feather toy, Orion’s spirit is bright, brave, and full of love. Read below for more information.All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care. ##2339126##
