My story

Meet Lady – A Resilient, Loving Puppy Looking for Her Forever Home Lady was found wandering alone in the woods, underweight and scavenging from a trash can. Despite her rough start, her gentle and grateful nature shone through immediately. The moment she finished her first real meal, she jumped up to thank her rescuer with tail wags and kisses. Estimated to be about 6 months old, Lady is a Great Pyrenees mix with a calm, affectionate demeanor. She’s friendly with everyone she meets—except for unknown men in hats, who still make her nervous. She’s especially happy around children and enjoys playing with other dogs. She ignores cats and shows no aggression, even when she’s scared—she simply backs away or cowers. As she’s gained weight and strength, her playful puppy side is emerging. She’s curious about toys, likes to chew (but is easily redirected to appropriate items), and enjoys short play sessions throughout the day. Lady is crate-trained for meals and sleep, and she’s working on housebreaking—she can hold it overnight but still has occasional accidents. She walks nicely on a leash and needs a couple of daily walks to stay happy and healthy. She does struggle with separation anxiety and wants to be near her people as much as possible. She’s eager to bond and thrives on love and attention. Lady knows sit, down, and stay, and she’s ready to keep learning. As a Pyrenees, she’ll grow into a large, steady companion. Her gorgeous wavy coat will require regular brushing, which she tolerates just fine. She’s a sweet, sensitive soul with a big heart and a lot of potential. With patience, structure, and love, Lady will make a devoted lifelong companion.
