My story

Hi! My name is Beatrice and I am from Minnesota. Everyone says I'm a sweetheart, so it must be true! I LOVE people. Love them. I am very low energy and my favorite place is on the couch or bed beside you. I have a fantastically squishy face and love getting kisses. I am perfectly crate trained. Occasionally, if I am lonely, I may make some very sad howling sounds if I am left alone, but I am generally quiet. I am super good around other dogs. I'm still learning how to play, but the resident dogs in my foster home are teaching me how to dog! I am still building up stamina and muscle since I was trapped in a too small kennel for far too long, but I have recently learned to climb stairs! If you need a dog who will never judge you for lying around all day, I'm your girl!! I have some food resource guarding issues, so will continue to need help around this element of training. I don't have a problem sharing toys or water, but high-value food can be tricky! I also love kids, but the little boys I share a house with right now are very rambunctious and this sometimes scares me. I love all people, but my foster mom thinks I deserve a calmer, quieter home! From the Vet: Sweet Beatrice came into rescue from a local shelter and while she certainly needed a soft place to land and receive the TLC she deserves, her medical issues are very few. Her skin and coat health is improving and her mobility and congenital abnormalities are stable the only thing she still needs while in our care is her spay procedure so we can assure no litters for this girl!
