My story

Hi there! My name is Benji . I am a 6 lb scruffy & fluffy 3 month old terrier mix looking to melt someone’s heart with my adorable looks and playful personality. I’m finally old enough to leave the nest and even though I’ll miss my sweet mommy and brothers, the next chapter must be written. My life started in a small rural town in south Texas, my mommy gave birth to us 5 boys under a house! But when her owner found us she kicked us to the curb and told animal control to take us all, including my mom. Going to that place was very scary but that day a miracle took place. It just so happened that a representative of 4 Little Paws actually grew up in that same tiny town so they called her to come and save us. She was there in a flash and took us to safety. Since then our lives have been filled with love, fun, flea-free beds, and our bellies always are full! We all got our shots and checked out by the vet. My most unique trait is out of 5 boys, I’m the only one who looks just like my sweet momma, she has been the best momma there is so with her looks I’m destined to be a great dog just like her! Yes, I am the runt of the group, and yes I am rambunctious! Life is too short to be boring so I like to have fun and keep everything exciting all the time. My humans didn’t think I would sit still long enough to take my glamour shots but would you look at that? WOW! Mr. Photogenic right here! I’m a little puppy with so much personality so don’t let my size fool you! I’m nice, well mannered and the most fun! Don’t tell my brothers I told you though! Now that I’m old enough to go outside we are working on potty training too! Woo-hoo! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
