My story

Hi there, I’m Leo! You might notice I’ve got a little something unique about me—I only have one front leg. But guess what? That doesn’t slow me down one bit! I’ve mastered the art of the happy hop, and if you see me bounce with excitement when I meet you, don’t be surprised—it`s just how I show my joy!I’ve been staying at the shelter for a little while, and the humans here say I’m an absolute sweetheart. I’m housetrained, crate-trained, and walk like a pro on a leash. I love people, and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t want to be friends with. Even when other dogs bark at me, I stay calm, wag my tail, and sometimes even flop over for belly rubs!I haven’t had a chance to meet small dogs or kids yet, but I’m pretty easygoing and always curious to make new friends. I’m super food-motivated (seriously—treats are life!) and I already know how to sit. I’m gentle with my toys, and I don’t chew on anything I shouldn’t. The only time I get a little bouncy is when I’m really happy to see you—but even then, I’m as gentle as can be (especially for a guy with three legs!).If you’re looking for a brave, goofy, loving pup with a heart as big as his smile, I think we’d make a perfect team. I’m ready to hop into your life and your heart.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you!
