My story

Beautiful Miss Rose is heartworm positive. This 5 year old Mini Labradoodle is going to spend the next few months undergoing expensive heartworm treatment. We would love for her to spend this time in her future forever home, rather than in our shelter, but we do not complete adoptions on animals until they have been medically cleared. In this situation, we do what is called a Medical Foster to Adopt. The right family will foster Rose during her treatment, which is provided by us. Once she is cleared the adoption would be completed with that foster family and Rose would then become a permanent member of their family. Once she is medically cleared, her adoption fee will be $425. This includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, and microchipping.
