Venda

My story

Venda was surrendered by his owner, along with Xander. He was very nervous, confused and withdrawn when he first arrived. Shortly after Venda came in, he showed his displeasure at losing his home by biting his new caretaker. When the vet was able to handle and examine him, she found his teeth were in terrible condition and he was in pain. That is probably another reason he did not want anyone to handle him. Venda has since had a full mouth extraction. He has zero teeth left, so of course he is on a strictly canned food diet. Venda is still reserved and unsure about all the new faces, both two legged and four. However, the dental work has definitely changed his outlook for the better. He has progressed to the point that he likes to be petted, but not picked up yet. Venda would love to have a family to show him that there is lots of good in the world and that there is a special person just for him. Come in and meet him 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Venda is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for Fiv/FeLV. We think someone should adopt him and name him Toothless, like the awesome little dragon!
