My story

Meet darling ARES, an adult male black and tan tabby kitty with white paws and a white chest.  He loves pets and sitting on a quiet lap.  He is very shy at first and can take some time to warm up, but once he does, it is very rewarding.  It's well worth the investment to gain his trust and affection.  He loves to explore his surroundings and can be independent as well.  Overall, he is low-key gentleman, not minding napping in a quiet room during the day, and cuddling up at night.  He is a fan of CAT TV (aka looking at the window) and a big people watcher.  Ares is very sweet and gentle soul, who just wants to be loved on.  He came to the rescue when his previous family could no longer provide care for him, but he was well loved, and it was a very sad separation for all involved.  Ares is looking for a quiet forever home, and another chance to be loved and cared for by the perfect forever family. Ares has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, is in good health, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Ares in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
