My story

Meet Boss! This little one-eyed, toothless 7 lb Chi/Min Pin Mix will work his way right into your heart! Boss required rescue after his family lost their home due to the devastating floods in Kentucky. Homeless, his family could no longer take care of Boss and their two other dogs. Upon arrival at BAARK, Boss immediately made himself at home so happy to be safe, and ready to begin his new life! While generally in good physical condition, Boss’ left eye was bulging and looked horribly painful due to infection. The best option was e nucleation, so his eye was removed at the time he was neutered. This double-surgery did not phase Boss and he definitely did not let this slight setback get in his way of enjoying every day!! Boss is such a happy, playful boy! He loves everyone he meets, and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. Senior bloodwork suggests that Boss is in very early stage of kidney disease, so we are providing him a kidney RX canned food. He also receives an inexpensive kidney supplement. While we do not know his true age, we are estimating him to be 12 years old. Boss is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on a heartworm preventative.
