My story

Leo is a handsome, 76-pound cattle dog mix who might have a touch of pointer or hound in his genes—whatever the mix, it adds up to one lovable big guy! Leo is affectionate, friendly, and gets along well with other dogs. He thrives on attention and would love a home where he can soak up all the love you have to give. While Leo could stand to lose a few pounds (who can't?), he’s ready to get active and would benefit from some basic training to help him shine. With a little structure and a lot of affection, this sweet guy will make a loyal and devoted companion. If you're looking for a gentle soul who just wants to be loved and included, Leo might be your perfect match. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
