My story

Meet Buddy Joe, an 8-year-old, 18-pound Bichon Frise with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Buddy Joe came to us as an owner surrender along with his sister, Lady Avery, and the two are deeply bonded—they’ll need to be adopted together. This lovable pair is ready to find a forever home where they can stay side by side. Buddy Joe is good with both dogs and cats, and while he has a collapsed trachea and some back pain, that doesn’t stop him from being a happy, playful little guy. He’s also a bit of a talker—he loves letting you know when he needs something, whether it’s a snack, some pets, or just a bit of attention. He enjoys spending time outdoors, hanging out with his canine friends, and soaking up all the love he can get. Buddy Joe is still working on his potty and leash training, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can help him continue to improve his skills. Once he gets to know you, he’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. He may take a second to warm up, but once he does, he’s all in 🐾. Adoption fee is: $ ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
