My story

Meet Dagger! This handsome doggo, born December 2023, is searching for his loving new home! Dagger is vaccinated, neutered, and doing great on a leash—perfect for strolls together! He’s initially timid but transforms into a big, derpy goofball with time and love. Dagger is exploring a world full of firsts, so patience is essential as he learns. He’s already obsessed with pup cups (his absolute favorite!) and is warming up to toys and patio dining. If you’re ready to guide this sweet boy through his adventures, Dagger will shower you with loyalty and silliness. He`s currently in a foster home, so let us know if you`d like to meet him! ~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
