My story

ADOPTION FEE: $225 *PARTIALLY SPONSORED FEE* *NOT GOOD WITH KIDS!!!!!* Zander is working on socialization around children and would do best in a home with no kids. His previous foster has sponsored part of his fee as well as a first training session at Good Dog! Behavior Training in Fort Collins. From Zanders amazing foster: (7/9)"he has been doing very well! No issues with potty training so far. He was not eating much so I’ve been throwing in some abound wet food and now he eats his breakfast and dinner in one sitting! He knows how to sit and we are working on recall right now. I think he has some cattle dog in him because he loves to be run. He doesn’t pull on a leash but there are some occasional exceptions. He is definitely a cuddler and would much rather sleep in the same room than alone in his crate elsewhere. He currently has an emotional attachment to his toy dragon and loves to show it off. He does well with cats but he trying to understand why they don’t wanna play with him." (6/13) "Zander is a sweet and loving boy! He is amazing of the leash once he respects his care giver. He loves to swim in horse tooth and play with other doggie friends. He knows how to sit and come (also potty trained!) He is pretty good on a leash but gets distracted because everything is still so new to him. He loves cuddles from everyone he meets although he is still curious about kids and thinks they are puppy friends so can come off a bit strong. Just need to be socialized with kids more."
