My story

Ada is a resilient 6-year-old sweetheart weighing just 8.5 pounds. Life hasn’t been easy for her—she was rescued from a struggling city shelter after ending up as a stray. Her skin tells the story of years spent battling fleas and a flea allergy, leaving her itchy and uncomfortable for far too long. But Ada’s brighter days are just ahead! She’s now receiving medicated baths and antibiotics, and her beautiful glow-up is right around the corner.Through it all, Ada has remained incredibly loving and sweet. She adores people, gets along with all dogs, and is so ready to leave her rough past behind and find a family to love her through the rest of her journey. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
