My story

SENIORS ADOPTING SENIORS… ~This pet is eligible for our SENIORS ADOPTING SENIORS initiative! Seniors (65+) are permitted to adopt a senior dog (8+) for the reduced adoption fee of $75.00 Midnight is located in Cleveland, OH with her foster family. Also, her adopter will need to return to our clinic (2584 Billingsley Road, Columbus, OH) for Midnight's spay. ABOUT ME… My name is Midnight! I’m an 8 year old little love bug. My foster mom calls her little pot-belly piggy (in a good way, I promise) because I’m a short but thick girl who loves to make funny piggy noises. My foster parents comment all the time on how much of a good girl I am and it's really true, I just love to sit by my people and hang out. I’m very friendly with everyone I meet and although I’m not a big fan of toys, I’ll grab one every now and then to snuggle with. I AM GREAT WITH… Other dogs my size, I don’t pay attention to the cats and men and women! While I haven’t been around children in my foster home, I would probably be ok with children as well. I am a very good listener, I go to my bedroom each night for bedtime, I know my name and always listen when called and I walk well on the leash! I am housebroken and have no issues being left out for periods of time, I usually just curl up on the couch and hang out. I do well on car rides (I’ve been on a few 2+ hour rides to my foster home) and I walk well on a leash. I AM STILL WORKING ON… Honestly, not a whole lot! I am a very good girl. I AM NOT GOOD WITH… Small dogs, the smaller dogs in my foster home really bother me, I’m not sure why, but I’m just not a fan. I would do best in a home as a solo pup or dogs similar in size or large! I have no problem with the cats in the house though. Lots of stairs also aren’t my jam, I take about 5 steps in and out of the house for walks and playtime, but I can’t handle the steps going to the second floor of my foster home. I think if they were carpeted this might be easier! I REQUIRE… **A house with no small dogs, as mentioned above, they’re just not my favorite. I would love a home filled with lots of love! I really enjoy pets and attention and would love to just sit next to you on the couch while we watch your favorite tv show. I’m a calm, relaxed girl and would do best in any type of home with a single adopter or family! VETTING... ~All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. ~If booster shots have not been completed prior to adoption, they may be completed at our clinic in Columbus, OH at no additional expense. Alternatively, the adopter can use their own vet to boost vaccinations, at their own expense. TERMS & CONDITIONS... ~Adopters must reside in the State of Ohio. ~No transportation assistance is provided; adopter must commute for meet & greet. ~Meet & greets are not scheduled until there is an approved adoption application on file. ~The expectation is that you will bring your new pet home from the meet & greet, if all goes well. Please be prepared to do so by bringing a collar, leash, harness, crate, etc. to secure your new pet.
