My story

Meet Aspen! At just 6 months old, Aspen is a spunky, curious little pup with a big personality! She may be small in size, but don’t let that fool you — she’s full of energy, spirit, and affection! Aspen can be a bit shy when she first meets new people or dog friends, but once she feels safe, she’s eager to play and shower you with all of her love and affection. She is a blend of playful and snuggly - always game for running and playing with her foster sister or cuddling up next to you on the couch. Despite some regression, but is making great progress in her new foster home! Aspen is eager to learn and is very treat motivated. She is doing well with potty training and basic manners - she knows her name, sit, and outside. Aspen is also working on her leash/walk confidence. With continued positive reinforcement training, Aspen will be fully trained in no time. This sweet girl would thrive in a patient, gentle, and loving home that is committed to her training. Aspen would love to have a sibling, but will do well as the only dog with someone who is home a lot or can take her with them to work, on adventures, etc. She has had positive experiences with cats, older kids, and dogs.
