My story

Apollo is a 1 yr old Lab mix with big energy and even bigger potential. Still very much a puppy, Apollo is jumpy and mouthy at times, and he's looking for an experienced adopter who can help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’s smart, eager, and full of life—but he needs structure, guidance, and consistent training to help him succeed. Apollo thrives with people who understand high-energy pups, and he’ll benefit from an active home that can meet both his physical and mental needs. When it comes to other dogs, Apollo can be selective, so introductions will be handled on a case-by-case basis. He is not a candidate for homes with cats or young children, as his current behavior and energy level may be too overwhelming. Apollo is looking for a committed, dog-savvy person who’s ready to put in the time to help him blossom. With training, patience, and positive reinforcement, this energetic pup has the potential to be a loyal, loving companion. Visit the shelter Monday – Saturday from 12pm-3pm to meet our adoptable dogs.
