My story

Isn`t this guy the most delicious-looking pup? With his velvety brown tux and adorable white boots, he`s quite the looker!Chocolate arrived at the shelter after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He`s a great age to add to a family - well past the puppy crazies but young enough and energetic enough to keep up with anyone! If you already have doggy family members, he`d love to have an introduction led by shelter staff to ensure that everyone is set up for a successful life together.While here, he`s been spending time with his dog-walking friends, working hard on various skills. Number one is wagging his tail! He knows it makes for a great greeting. After that, he works on some nice leash-walking skills and then throws in a couple `sits`, preferably for a treat.... please and thank you! And should you have a super yummy treat, you might even earn one of his signature tippy-tap dances!Chocolate is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
