My story

This handsome guy is Dot, a 4-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a soft spot for his sister, Lilah. Dot may start off a little shy, but once he settles in and feels safe, you`ll see his true personality shine—sweet, affectionate, and totally lovable. Dot has been raised with his sister, so we believe he’d do just fine in a home with other calm, friendly cats. He’s not the boldest adventurer, but he’s the kind of companion who will quietly curl up near you, purr when you talk to him, and offer soft headbutts when the mood strikes. Dot is looking for a patient and loving home where he can adjust at his own pace and show off his wonderful, mellow nature. Once he trusts you, he’ll be your loyal little shadow. If you`re looking for a low-key companion with lots of love to give, Dot is your guy. Come meet him and see if he’s the perfect match for your heart and home. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
