What my friends at ACC say about me:My purr motor is always running!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.Sweetie is very sweet and was up on the Kuranda bed but quickly came down at the sound of treats, which she wasn't allowed to eat because of her medical condition. She was very sweet and friendly and enjoyed all petting, leaning in for cheek rubs. She was calm when picked up and held, and remained so when set back down. During the interaction, she began eating her wet food and is a lovely cat.Sweetie interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.A volunteer writes: Sweetie is so thoroughly upbeat and cheerful that she's become my role model. Curled up in a shoebox that's three sizes too small, our good natured and easy going Sweetie stretched out a paw and danced her way over to the front when she saw me admiring her. It was like she was telling me not to just stand there, but to come on in! Nuzzling her face into my chest and seemingly unbothered by just about everything, Sweetie welcomed me with open paws and a very happy little dance. Sweetie has a lot on her plate at the moment - she's recently lost her home and some medical issues that will need follow up care - but still she greets the day and new friends, like this is just the best thing ever.
