My story

IDGSR Welcomes CHARLIE into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Charlie and I'm a gorgeous 18-month old female German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 18-months old Home - home with a fenced in yard, no apartments or condos Kids - would do fine with teenagers (13+) Dogs - good with large male dogs, no females Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. I use to have a family but I got lost from them. When a nice person found me and called my owners, they didn't want me anymore. Thankfully IDGSR promised to find me a good home! 2. I am an energetic and alpha female. It is best that I be the only female dog in the home. I get along with large male doggos or I'd be fine being an only dog. 3. I am house & crate trained! I do need the full range of obedience training to make sure I'm the best behaved girl around. Training will also help us bond! 4. Now that it's almost summertime, I'm ready for a life full of adventures! Let's go chase waterfalls, go hiking, swimming, and check out the new hot-spots in town that have pup friendly patios. I'll go anywhere & do anything as long as I'm with you! 5. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
