Archie

My story

Meet Archie, a 1-year-old pit bull/terrier mix who is currently living his best foster life while waiting for his forever home! Archie is incredibly calm and observant, never barking — just quietly taking in the world around him. He loves people and other dogs, soaking up attention from every passerby and gently asking to play with every pup in sight. He walks beautifully on leash, never pulls, and though he’s a little hesitant about walking through unfamiliar doorways, with some encouragement he always pushes through like a champ. Archie appears to be potty trained and has zero resource guarding — he happily shares toys, food, and treats with both humans and other dogs. He rides well in the car, although he’s a bit clumsy and sometimes tumbles a little before settling in to people-watch out the window. This sweet guy also did great in the bath — he was cautious at first but stayed calm the whole time. At home, Archie is playful but gentle, with occasional zoomies where he’ll prance around and wiggle his whole body like a marching parade. He sleeps soundly through the night (and naps a lot during the day!), always wanting to snuggle as close as possible — often with his head on the pillow and belly up like a little human. When left home alone with his foster sibling, he was a perfect angel, and they returned to find him peacefully napping on the couch surrounded by his toys. Archie also loves watching TV (especially rom-coms like Crazy Stupid Love) and will spend hours people-watching from the window like a curious little neighbor. Archie is the total package — gentle, loving, low-maintenance, and full of quiet joy. He deserves the very best home where he can keep snuggling, playing, and spreading his soft, sweet energy.
