My story

Hi! I'm Maverick! I'm an approximately 1 year old, male, Domestic Short hair, Tuxedo cat! I was surrendered by my owner because I did not get along with the other cats in the home. I am not a fan of other animals and would do best as the center of your attention! I do enjoy my personal space and give love on my terms. Because of this, I am suggested in a home with kids over the age of 16 years old. I enjoy exploring my surroundings and basking in the early morning sunshine. My adoption fee is $50. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and FIV/FELV negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
