ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/14375Name: LindaGender: FemaleBreed: Chihuahua MixAge: 1 year old, DOB: April 11, 2024Weight: 14 lbs.Current Location: King William, VA About: LindaMeet Linda. This pint-sized girl with a big heart wants what every dog wants: a safe and comfortable home where he can be loved.See me in action: Click here Arriving to VA off transport!PERSONALITYLinda is very sweet and quiet. She’s a sensitive girl who needs a moment to learn that you’re a friend. She’ll need some time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but Linda’s foster mom reports that Linda is already getting more comfortable around the people and other dogs in her new temporary home. COMPANIONSHIPLinda prefers the safety of her bed or crate while she observes the hustle and bustle of her foster family. This quiet and polite girl never growls and instead remains peaceful while she checks things out at her own pace. As she gains confidence, Linda is learning to trust people and other dogs. Recently, Linda surprised her foster mom by climbing into a dog bed to cuddle with her foster sibling. LOVE AND AFFECTIONWhile Linda isn’t one to seek attention, she happily lets her people pick her up for cuddles and pets. So far, in her foster home, food is what gets Linda most excited. TRAINING AND LEARNINGLinda is making good progress with her potty-training. Her foster mom says Linda does well if she lets Linda out in the fenced yard without a leash: Linda will usually potty fairly quickly and will come to the door when she's ready to come back in. Linda is also starting to feel comfortable on a leash as she continues to build confidence while taking walks. IDEAL HOMELinda would appreciate a calm household where she can come out of her shell as she gains confidence. This sensitive girl is looking for a patient adopter who will give her some time to settle into her new home. Linda is sure to become a great companion for someone who likes to enjoy life’s quiet moments.Linda is looking for her forever family! Is that with you?
