My story

Hello, my name is: BellaDOB: 9/13/2010Sex/Breed: Spayed female Yorkie/Poodle mixWeight: 12.4 lbsRescued From: ACCT PhillySeeing Bella confused in a kennel at ACCT, we couldn’t walk away. She had spent her life as a companion and found herself homeless at no fault of her own. With limited vision, the loud shelter was even more overwhelming for this old gal, so we were happy to provide her a safe exit and a quiet foster home. She came down with an upper respiratory infection from her shelter stay, so she needed to be nursed back to health. Now that she is feeling her best, we can begin the search for the family that will love her through her golden years. Bella gets along with other dogs, cats, and school-aged kids. She likes to relax mostly, but also enjoys a short stroll around the neighborhood. Snacks and naps are her favorite things! She’ll dish out the sweetest kisses if you scratch under her chin – showing her gratitude for your kindness the best way she knows how. Aside from poor vision and some aches from arthritis, this old lady is in good shape!
