My story

Name, age: Asher, 2 yearsLikes: Head scratches, sunbathing, bird watching from the windowsill, wet food. Dislikes: Being picked up/ restrained, quick movements. What would be the ideal home? Any home that will let Asher settle in at his own pace as he is very shy. He is quiet when left alone, but also playful and cuddly when surrounded by his people! Good with other cats? Asher was briefly introduced to another cat. He was very hesitant but curious. It is believed that with a slow introduction, Asher would do very well with a cat of a similar energy level. Good with dogs? Unknown. Good with children? Unknown, but likely, as he is pretty laid back once he is comfortable. Personality: Asher is very shy around unfamiliar faces, but once he is comfortable, he is very cuddly and playful. He soaks up all the attention he gets, but can also be very independent at times. He is a young, energetic cat once he is settled in, leading to energy bursts as well as the zoomies. He also loves his scratching post and playing with his toys!How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 4-5 weeksAny special needs or traits an adopter should know? Asher is extremely shy. He would do best starting in a small, quiet room until he becomes more comfortable.
