My story

Meet Sweet Butterscotch!This three year old female cat is looking for a second chance at a better life. Butterscotch is a gentle, sensitive little lady searching for that purrfect person who will give her the patience she needs to blossom into the wonderful cat we know she is. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Butterscotch is shy meeting new people and sensitive to new situations. She will need time and space to acclimate to her new home and her new people. While the shelter is a scary place for her, we can see a sweet and affectionate cat lurking just below the surface. With a little bit of time and a gentle touch, we believe her forever family will see that side of her in no time.Butterscotch has lived with cats previously and we believe she would do well in a multi-cat household. However, due to her sensitive nature, we would still recommend slowly introducing her to any potential feline family members. A slow introduction will ensure that Butterscotch and her new kitty sibling(s) feel safe and comfortable acclimating to each other`s presence.
