My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Harvey is ready to find his new home and start his new life full of adventures with you!  Harvey is a mixed breed dog - our best guess is Min Pin and some kind of terrier mix.  He is 1 year old and weighs 25 pounds - not quite a small dog and yet not quite a medium dog.  A size that fits perfectly into your life and lap!   Harvey made the journey from Texas to Buffalo and adjusted well to the change. You may have seen Harvey at our events. He appears to be shy and quiet, but it’s always the quiet ones you need to watch out for. Once Harvey warms up, which doesn’t take long, he’s the life of the party. He loves to play hard. His forever home better have lots of stuffed toys, too. He thinks they all belong to him. He will share them with his foster siblings but there can never be enough toys for Harvey. This happy boy loves spending time outdoors, running around, and playing with his foster friends. He has a fully fenced yard at his foster home, which is perfect for him. Harvey is housebroken and completely crate trained. He does not make a sound in his crate while you are at work. When you come home, he is full of excitement.    While he’s not completely leash trained just yet, he’s come a long way since arriving at Pixie Mamas. With a little extra training and patience, he will get there in no time. For now, a fully fenced yard is definitely the best place for Harvey to keep him safe and secure.   Harvey is wonderful with the other dogs in his foster home, always ready to snuggle up with them for some cozy naps. Play hard, sleep hard after all. At bedtime, Harvey curls up right next his foster mama for a good nights rest. First thing in the morning, he’s outside to potty, then it’s back inside, sometimes for a little more sleep, and sometimes he’s ready to play. Just depends on his mood. He adores people and has done amazingly well at our events, showing off his excitement with a cute little dance and using his paws to express just how happy he is. That floppy ear makes him even more charming and hard to resist. Harvey listens well, is eager to please, and is super motivated by food, which has been a big help in his training.    With his playful spirit and eagerness to please, we just know that Harvey will be a great addition to your family or the perfect companion to spend to come home to - he certainly brightens up his foster home every day! We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security. Harvey is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $400Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 14, 2025, 6:50 am
