Jolly Rancher

My story

A27500 Jolly Rancher is a grey and white colored, approximately 7-year-old, 79-pound, neutered male, Pitbull. He entered the shelter as a stray on 05-01-2025 and has not been reclaimed by his unknown owner. Jolly Rancher is a friendly, calm, senior boy here at the shelter. Our staff describes him as a sweet calm boy who gives off that older dog calm vibe. They say if you are looking for a couch potato companion, he just might be perfect. He loves treats but is an alligator and does not take them nicely, so pay attention. He loves affection and will let you pet him all over. He was easy to leash and will stand up ready to go after you get the leash on. He was really well behaved during our walks, walking gently right next to you. He is an older boy and may need a little time to warm up for activity. So, just go slow and he is happy to go along. He has had some training and will “sit” upon command, but we used a squeaky toy to get his attention. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Jolly Rancher will be a loyal, loving companion in his new forever home.
